On November 19, the fragrant aroma of rice and the rich emotions of the fields filled the air as a public welfare project took place in Zhenzhu Village. Numerous families, including parents and children, joined in the festivities, participating in activities such as harvesting and threshing to gain insights into the seasonal agricultural practices and relishing the joy of farming.

Yanghe Town embraces a unique approach to late rice cultivation. The public welfare project, covering around 50 acres of late rice cultivation in Gaoming’s Yanghe Town, integrates resources from agricultural enterprises and local farmers. It allocates 17 acres of paddy fields for enthusiastic individuals from all walks of life to claim, employing innovative concepts such as crowdfunding and resource sharing. Participants engage in charitable activities in the name of their claimed fields, fostering a blend of “agritourism + public welfare” through shared paddy fields.
