Leaders of Foshan City had a meeting with the delegation of Overseas Chinese Association.

The delegation of “3^rd Overseas Chinese Association Chairmen’s Joint Meeting” had come to Foshan yesterday and done some reseach on investment and speciality market for the chance of cooperate. Xian Ruilun, the standing committee of the municipal government committee and the standing deputy mayor, had invited the delegation come and invest in Foshan. 

The delegation had visited and observed on the Foshan Creativity Industrial Park, Ancient Nanfeng Kiln, and the China Ceramic City. Chen Jie, The Executive Director of the Huayuan Technique Committee from the Silicon Valley America, had said that they would make good use of this opportunity to have a good cooperation with industries in Foshan and the talents from America. They would like to build a economic developing platform for the technical personnel who returning home.　

The delegation was surprised by the long history and industrial basic in Foshan and expressed their tendency to investing here. “I want to realize the invest environment and the relevant policies.” The deputy chairman of China Technology Committee Dr. Li Wei had said Foshan has a good foresight and originality; he would communicate with his members about this trip.  

Xian Ruilun had met the delegation and introduced them with the economy development of Foshan. The GDP is expected to reach more than 4700 billion yuan in Foshan, compared with 2008 growth of 13.5%. Xian said that Foshan is with high level of opening up and welcome members of the delegation come and invest in Foshan.

The delegation, which comprising 27 people from the Overseas Chinese Professional Associations from United States, Japan, Canada and other countries, had took part in the 3^rd Overseas Chinese Professional Association Joint Committee in Guangzhou on Dec. 24 to 26.
