Yesterday, the Foshan economic and trade delegation finished the negotiation of trade in Chile and came back to China. In 10 days South- American economic and trade activities, more than 70 enterprises of Foshan have exploited the markets and placed many orders, total trade agreements have been achieved to US $1.02 billions.

2009 Foshan of China – The Republic of Chile corresponding enterprises conference had been held in 30th of March in Santiago where the capital of Chile, it attracted over 100 enterprisers of Chile to attended. Additionally, with the Economic and Trade Introduction in Sao Paulo of Brazil and the international Construction materials Exhibition of Brazil, Foshan economic and trade delegation has totally reach US $1.2 billion of trade agreement which exporting account for 780 million US dollar and importing account for 240 million US dollar. According to the report, started from 21st of March, Mr. Li Zipu who is the deputy mayor of Foshan led the Foshan economic and trade delegation to visited Brazil, Argentina and Chile for a series of trade negotiating activities. The 24th, Foshan’s delegation held “ 2009 (China)Hong Kong – Foshan Trade and Investment Introduction” with the Trade Developing Bureau of Hong Kong and others in Sao Paulo of Brazil, it attracted nearly 300 local emprises to attended. The 25th, Mr. Li Zipu met with more than 10 merchants who have permanent business relationship with Foshan at Rio de Janeiro of Brazil. The next day, Mr. Li led some relative cadres of Foshan Foreign Economic and Trade Bureau to visit the National Investing Development Ministry of Argentina. On 30th, Mr. Xie Weixiong who is the vice minister from Foshan Foreign Economic and Trade Bureau met with Mr. Wang Xinghe who is the president of Chinese Merchant Association of Chile.
