Huang Qi in Nanhai’ Dali Town is so close to Guangzhou that it is also called Zhongshan Jiulu. Besides, the beautiful scenery on either side of the river helps the real estate prosper earlier than anywhere else.

The simple yet professional markets where once countless fortune legends were produced are also a symbol of commercial and trade prosperity. More importantly, now Dali is progressing in the direction of the electronic commerce and exhibition development.

In the south of Guijiang interchange lies Guicheng, a city of increasingly cosmopolitan flavor. Dali is striving to build a Dali-Guicheng core, aiming at the full completion of both industries and urban development across the river in the shortest possible time.

Throughout the map of Guangdong province, Dali town is only the size of a green bean, but still it can't conceal its unique temperament: loftiness.

There is no reason for Dali not to feel lofty.

Its loftiness comes from its gifted geographic location.

With one hand holding Guangzhou’s Liwan district and the other Guicheng, the center of Nanhai, sharing borders with Chancheng, Shishan ang Lishui, Qiandenghu Lake in the south and Canton Tower in the east, Dali is a natural "Guangfo gold corridor". Guangfo highway, Guang-shan highway, Foshan first ring expressway, Guihe Road, Guangfo Road are all here together, forming the most rigorous "spider web", also serving as veins to help promote the economic hub. On its only 95 square kilometers inhabit nearly 700000 permanent citizens. Therefore, Dali has always been disciplining itself with standards of a medium-sized city.

Its loftiness also comes from its increasing value of land. Looking down from the sky, you will not only see a spider network of roads and rivers, but thickly-doted structures of reinforced concrete as well. These check-like houses of various kinds are treasure mines where "you can pick up gold for sure” and staged countless legends of wealth. In the specialized markets under the blue ceilings, many, who once used to ride a bicycle or motorcycle to deliver goods when they were young, are now driving Land Rovers and have become 10-millionaires with warehouses of thousands of square meters and several hundreds of workers. The average price of commercial housing under construction has reached more than eight thousand yuan per square meter.

Dali has every reason to be lofty. Entrepreneurs of business wisdom have been building a famous aluminum and underwear industry cluster in a place where in fact there is no such resources as aluminum and textile materials. It won so many honors as “China’s first aluminum materials town” and “China’s underwear town". Business geniuses here with a history of more than 500 years have now formed an elite legion which is made owned 500 gifted businessmen and possess 50 billion yuan of wealth. And in the center of the new city in Dali, it also gathered the Aeon group, Hilton, Jingdong group and other well-known leading international businesses which are all based here to thrive, creating a lively coexistence and cooperation between native and foreign businesses.

Dali has to be lofty. With a favorite support from its geopolitical factors, neighboring cities and its tremendous wealth, Dali is also a heroic city planner powered by heroic vitality and innovation. How to build an urbanized city on a rural collective land has always been a tough topic for many large towns. Early in 2007, Dali took the initiative to explore through government lease: more than 1800 acres of land belonging to 15 units which were massively integrated and continuously reconstructed. The result is the former "junk earth" was turned into the future city center. After the adjustment administrative regions, Dali did not get indulged, but instead actively looked for new competitivity and new power source. Soon after, the most effective policies of “the three-old renewal”, “assisting e-commerce” and “beautiful city and beautiful home” were launched so as to lay a solid foundation to build Dali into a "commercial and industrial new town, a fashionable metropolis / town ?.

In order to better prepare residents service, Dali introduced professional social work services from Hong Kong, helping migrant workers and local residents live peacefully. Some special projects have been conducted to solve social problems in recent years, for example, setting up "neighborhood meetings" to prepare residents for self services. Local government also invested large amounts of money in water conservancy and environmental engineering, etc. When land is at its highest price, Dali spared a piece of land of more than 100 acres to build Liulong park where cultural signs like Longhu impression, Cantonese families were designed, and platforms like July 1 space, New Nanhai’s dream home were completed, making the city a more passionate, more urbanized and a more charming one.

Perhaps because of its loftiness, Dali is still shut in a thick line of city landscape. The current Dali town has no special high-end buildings, no city center of note, even the industry transition is going on here. But evolution has been taking place: the busy construction sites here and there, magnetic policies one after another, heroic and innovative ideas now and then, all of which will arouse you curiosity and expectation.

We have reason to be confident in lofty Dali. Three years from now, there will be a new Dali under the lens of our camera.
